Katie & Richard’s Cirencester wedding was full of laughs, a few tears, and some really lovely moments, especially when the wind picked up Katie’s veil. A laid-back, emotional day in a beautiful Cotswold town.
Katie and Richard’s wedding in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, was one of those days that felt really special from the start. It was a warm July day, full of emotion, laughter, and a few happy tears too. They got married at the beautiful Kings Head Hotel, right in the centre of town.
Katie got ready at the Kings Head, surrounded by her close friends and family. The room was full of nervous energy, with lots of excitement (and some teary moments too) as she stepped into her stunning dress. Meanwhile, Richard and his groomsmen were just around the corner at The Fleece, getting ready in their own way — a bit of banter, a few deep breaths, and plenty of smiles.
The ceremony itself was full of emotion, and you could really feel how much this day meant to both of them. Afterwards, we wandered the streets of Cirencester for some portraits, and the town made the perfect backdrop. One of the loveliest moments was when the wind caught Katie’s veil — it lifted just enough to create a really beautiful, almost cinematic effect.
Katie’s dress was honestly incredible. It looked amazing in person, but the black and white photos really brought out all the little details and gave everything a timeless feel.
It was one of those weddings where everything just clicked — the people, the setting, the energy. Lots of big laughs, a few emotional hugs, and a couple who clearly adore each other. A perfect summer’s day in Cirencester.
