Elmhay Park Wedding Photography

Chloe & George’s big day was my first Elmhay Park wedding. The second one quickly followed two months later after I shared some photos online and before I knew it I was back there again for another fabulous day! I have fallen in love with the place and can’t wait to head back there again.

Elmhay Park is one of those wedding venues that has it all. Stunning grounds, onsite accommodation, an outdoor ceremony space that can be used even on rainy days and dogs are welcome. I could go on. What really stands out for me about this venue though is that summer weddings benefit from natural light on the dance floor thanks to a giant skylight. There are not many venues that can beat that. Without getting too technical here, natural lights always gets my preference over articial light. And whilst of course I usually always shoot with flash during the dance floor hours, at Elmhay Park there is no need. The gorgeous light coming in from right above the dance floor does a wonderful job. Scroll down to the bottom of this page to see Chloe & George’s first dance photos to see what I mean.

One of the highlights from Chloe & George’s wedding day was when Chloe’s dad picked her up in the morning. His reaction when he saw Chloe was priceless and it was a privilege to capture this moment for them both. But German Shepherd Kyra was the icing on the cake to make this wedding blog-worthy. I’m a big fan of venues that let dogs join in on the fun. Kyra did a fabulous job as ring bearer and took a special liking to the confetti.
