Owlpen Manor Wedding

owlpen manor wedding

Here’s a wedding I’ve been dying to upload to my blog. Not least because it was at one of my favourite Cotswold venues but also because of the day’s many special guests. Michelle & Alex’s Owlpen Manor wedding was on a beautiful spring day. Their guests consisted of close family and friends, an RAF sword party and an unusual number of… dogs! And that’s certainly what I will remember this day by. Owlpen Manor is a terrific wedding venue for people who love the outdoors, and if you and your guests like to bring your dogs along that’s not a problem at all. How awesome is that?!

Two dogs in particular were the guests of honour at this wedding. Michelle & Alex’s labradors were very well behaved in the church on site and one of them was given the very special role of ring bearer. She did an excellent job and her nerves didn’t get the best of her! Following the ceremony there were drinks, canapés and a string quartet in the garden.

The dance floor in the evening was quite something else. Mostly thanks to saxophone player Sarah! She stole the stole and had everyone dancing their heart out. I LOVE capturing dancefloor action, especially when guests enjoy themselves as much as this lot. See for yourself below, it’s really worth scrolling all the way down for the dance floor pics!

If you’re in the process of planning your big day and want to have a chat with me to find out more about my wedding photography package then drop me a line. I’d love to hear from you.

Thank you so much for the photos, they really are amazing. We don't know how we will pick our favourites!
