Bristol Beacon Wedding Photography
Just the best day! And it shows in the photos. I always say to my couples: “If you and your guests are all having a fab day, your photos will be fab too.” And it’s so true. Grace & Hal’s wedding is a case in point. At this Bristol Beacon wedding I was joined by two videographers (James Taylor Films) and my second shooter for the day Dave Stokes. The four of us worked together to document this day for Grace & Hal in the best possible way whilst letting the day unfold naturally.
Grace & Hal had a large Catholic ceremony at Clifton Cathedral followed by a reception at Bristol Beacon. As a concert venue, Bristol Beacon makes for a spectacular yet somewhat unconventional wedding venue. Grace & Hal had all three floors of the foyer. Starting at the top with drinks and canapés on arrival, followed by the wedding breakfast one floor below that and finishing on the ground floor with a knock-your-socks-off kinda party.
So many things made this day extra special such as the fact that the entire band consisted of Grace & Hal’s friends. The choir at Clifton Cathedral is one that Grace is a part of herself. And, having met in Bristol, couple photos in iconic Bristol spots felt just right for these two.
The photos below are less than 10% of the images that Grace & Hal received, but they give you a good idea of what this day was like and my way of capturing it. The wedding video by James and Malin is really worth a watch as well. Enjoy!
Other suppliers who made this day possible include:
Florist: The Wilde Bunch | Grace’s dress: Halfpenny | Hal’s suit: Hackett | Hair & makeup: Evie Smith | Cake: Devonshire Bakery | Catering: Papadeli | Choir: City of Bristol Choir
