Pennard House Wedding Photography

What an incredible day this was! Laura is a graphic designer and Piers owns his own copywriting agency (can you guess how they met… ?). They decided a Pennard House wedding was the perfect match for their laid-back personalities, so they tied the knot at this hidden gem in the Mendip hills near Shepton Mallet, North Somerset.

Approximately one month before the wedding, I visited Laura and Piers (and their dog Dudley) at their charming house in Bradford on Avon to discuss the day in detail and the type of shots that they were after. They wanted the day to feel relaxed so I made sure to keep a low profile, photographing them and their guests naturally whilst they were enjoying the day. Everything went to plan and the rain even stopped just in time for the outdoor ceremony! What made it extra special was the colourful choir (that Laura and Piers are both part of) who did an amazing job and made for some fun photos. At one point they were even joined by the bride and groom themselves.
