Family Photography during your Cotswolds Holiday
My favourite way of capturing any family is in the great outdoors, using natural light. No posing against white studio walls, just people and children being themselves and having fun. A family photoshoot can take place anywhere you like. People often choose places that they frequently visit as a family or a place that has a special meaning to them, such as the beach, the forest or a nearby park. I’m based in the Cotswolds and regularly work across Bath, Bristol and Gloucestershire.

I believe that the best photos of people and children are those where everyone can be themselves. I often ask people to focus on each other and pretend I’m not there. That ensures these family sessions are completely natural, relaxed and fun.

Yes indeed! My mini sessions are seasonal and take place approximately three times a year. In May and October families can book in for mini sessions at the Westonbirt Arboretum to make the most of seasonal colours. In August, I also offer mini sessions at a sunflower field in Wiltshire. Sessions are up to 30 minutes long and can include up to 5 people. If you would like to be notified when new dates are announced, please sign up to my newsletter.

Being in the UK, we can never predict the weather conditions and with most of my family photoshoots being outdoors we do have to change plans from time to time. I always keep a close eye on the forecast in the days leading up to a shoot and will notify you if I think it’s better to postpone.

I always recommend to wear plain coloured clothing. If you can, avoid clothes with large brands or images on. If you have booked a shoot with me somewhere green such as the Westonbirt Arboretum, try not wear anything green coloured or you will blend into the background :) Lastly, always bear in mind the weather (I wouldn’t want you to get cold) and footwear that is suitable for the location of the shoot.

Yes you can. Once you have received your gallery you can choose as many images as you like. Any number of digital images not already included in the package you purchased will be charged at £9.99 each. Discounts are provided to those who wish to purchase their entire gallery.
