Natural approach

My photography style is all about making people feel at ease, especially if they're not comfortable in front of the camera. I focus on capturing natural moments rather than staged poses, so they won’t feel pressured to smile on cue or strike awkward positions. The goal is to create a relaxed, fun atmosphere where everyone can be themselves, allowing their true personality to shine through. With a documentary approach, I aim to photograph people in real, unscripted moments—whether it’s a quiet laugh, a loving glance, or a simple gesture—that tell the true story of who they are, without any fuss or stress.

Location: the great outdoors

I’m a big fan of natural light – whether it’s sunlight filtering through tree branches, the soft glow of golden hour, or the way light plays on a child’s face. These subtle details help create a sense of magic and intimacy and are not something you can get from a studio shoot. Family photo sessions place at a location of your choice, with popular spots including the Westonbirt Arboretum, Ashton Court Estate, the Royal Crescent in Bath, and Dyrham Park. The price of the gift voucher includes travel costs within a 50-mile radius of my postcode, SN16 0NS.
